Jane is out of her isolette bed and in a hospital crib, which basically means she can regulate her own temperature. So while she's still hooked up to some monitors and has a feeding tube in her nose, she is slowly becoming more independent.
One of the coolest things about being out of the isolette is that we can take her out of the NICU room into a family room to spend time with her. You can see Kathleen feeding her in the family room. On Sunday we also brought Clare to the hospital. She can't go into the NICU, but one of the family rooms has a window to the lobby. We showed Jane to Clare, and she was excited to see a baby, but didn't really get it. When Adam showed her Jane and Momma she said: "Momma. Baby. Get down?" I think the reality will hit her when Jane comes home.
Adam can watch baseball on his iPod, and he introduced Jane to the Red Sox very early in her life.

Jane is doing well. She's up to an amazing 4 lbs. and 9 oz. That's because she's eating so well. And she's eating about 70% of her food through bottles, and only 30% through the tube. As she gets closer and closer to 100% feeding on her own, that's that much closer to home.

Wow! I can't believe a WHOLE MONTH has gone by.
What a strong little girl you have. I can't believe how hard she is fighting and how fast she is progressing.
She will do some amazing things in this world with all of that strength.
At least she is wearing something different than her "usual" pink outfit.;)
