Jane Update: Days 3 & 4

Jane is doing well, progressing as she should in her little bed in the NICU. She is breathing almost entirely by herself and only requires a little oxygen. She continues eating through a tube (which she will for the next several weeks).

Yesterday Kathleen was able to hold Jane for the first time.

Kathleen was able to hold Jane again today, and all of us (including Kathleen's mom Bonnie, aka Grammy), have visited several times. Only children older than two can visit the NICU, so Clare has not yet met or seen Jane (except in pictures), but she loves visiting mom in the hospital.

Kathleen is scheduled to be released from the hospital tomorrow (Wednesday), and then we will start new routines of visiting Jane at the hospital.

We thank everyone for their kind words and prayers on behalf of our family. Little Jane is doing well and we thank God every moment for her life and health.
