Lena is 3!

Unbelievably, our little Lena turns 3 today. It seems like just yesterday I was woken by Kathleen around midnight on Aug. 24, 2006, because her water broke and it was time to go to the hospital. So much has happened since. Lena has grown and learned so much, and she’s been joined by a little sister.

So here's a little bio on our beautiful little girl, at age 3.

Origin of Name: Lena is named after two great-grandmothers, Lena Viola Stone and Louise Lee.
Date of Birth: Aug. 24, 2006, around 10am
Place of Birth: Neenah, Wisconsin (the only home she’s ever known)
Favorite food: Pizza
Other foods she’s almost always eat: Fried eggs, chicken nuggets, sunbutter and jam sandwich, chocolate of any kind
Favorite TV show: Dora the Explorer (with Wonder Pets and Super Why following close behind)
Favorite movie: Cars
Favorite color: Purple
Favorite playtime activity: Anything outside
Nicknames: Monkey, Lelu, Lena Lu, Miss Lena
Things she’s learned recently: Drawing people, writing letters (as in A…B…C)
Goals in life: Watch lots of Dora, make her sister laugh, never be potty trained, jump on the couch 5-6 times a day
