Lena's dinner prayer

As we've recounted earlier, Lena has an interesting 2-year old's way of praying. You never know what blessings she's going to ask from God, and you never know who (or what) she is going to bless.

The other night we sat down to dinner, and I asked Lena who's turn it was. She said it was Lena's turn, so we all folded our arms and bowed our heads. This is what Lena said, I believe word-for-word: "Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ, Amen."

Kathleen and I could hardly stop laughing. I then explained to Lena that we needed to bless the food. So we started again, and she proceeded to bless each individual item of food on the table.

Hard to teach reverence when you're laughing during a prayer.
