Celebrating Jane -- She's 18 months!

Jane past the 18 month mark last week. Though she's still very tinny (below 0 percentile in weight), she's becoming an incredible climber and is getting closer to walking every day.

Here's a little more about the 18-month Jane.

Favorite Things to Eat: She's the best eater we've had. She eats whatever we're eating, with few exceptions. She loves to drink milk, loves cereal, and is a big fan of Kathleen's Mongolian beef. She also loves chocolate and other treats, especially suckers.

Favorite Things to Do: Climbing. She climbs up and down anything she can. She's an expert at going up and down the stairs, and sometimes does it so quickly it freaks Dad out, but she's never fallen down the stairs. She also loves to play with blocks and to follow her sisters around the house. She loves music and is already a great dancer.

Things You Might Hear Her Say: Momma and Dad. She will also say (and sign) more and milk. Cracker was one of her first word, though that's an all-purpose word that means 'anything crunchy I want to eat.' She said Lena months ago, and lights up when her oldest sister is around. She's also started copying animal noises we teach her. Like her sisters before her, she also can say touchdown and do the motion for it. She did so correctly during the Patriots game last week.

Other Things to Know
  • Jane is our first Momma's girl.
  • Despite being so small, Jane is the most daring of the girls and will climb on anything, including rocks.
  • She is very gentle with other kids her age and younger babies.
  • She's become pretty loud, but I'm not sure that's her nature. She's likely trying to be heard in what's a very loud house.
  • She's never really used a pacifier.
We love you Jane!
