We've done some fun things with Lena the past couple of weeks. The best was today -- we went out to a farm and picked strawberries with our good friends Brad and Megan and their 2-year-old daughter Lucy who is one of Lena's favorite friends. As you can see below, Lena and Lucy ate their fair share of strawberries and picked very few. For the next week we will be eating strawberry shortcake and making strawberry jam. We love the summers in Wisconsin.

Besides all the excitement with strawberries, Mom and Lena painted their toenails last week. It was the first time Lena has painted her nails. And it's amazing she sat still because she kicks and screams when Mom tries to cut her toenails. But she sat still for the cutting when Mom promised to 'color' them. The resulting beauty shot is below.

Oh my goodness Kathleen, Lena is adorable! Thanks for commenting on my blog. I'm really happy to see yours and will be checking back often! I want to read all of your posts, but only had time for the strawberry picking post this morning.
Take care.
