Mangum Reunion 2010 Part 2: Hanging around the house

Mangum Reunion 2010 Part 1

Mangum up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We spent much of our vacation hanging out in the house we rented north of San Antonio. This is just some of the fun we had during that week.
There was a lot of nature surrounding our isolated house. There were deer that came to the back fence, and bugs the size of your head. Lena's favorite was catching frogs in the front yard. She was the most aggressive (even more than her boy cousins). Above she's showing off her frog.

One of the themes of the week celebrating Mangum family heritage. Part of that was our Mormon pioneer heritage, relatives who left religious persecution in Illinois and traveled across the unsettled plains into Utah. Here's Adam telling all the kids a pioneer story.

Dede (Adam's Dad), Max and Lena hanging out by the back fence hoping to see some deer.

The kids did a lot of different activities. Lena really enjoyed playing with Play Do. The cousins also made different crafts.

Though it was hot, the house was a lot of fun.
