Last week we went to the Wisconsin Dells for a long weekend family vacation. In reverse order. here's the pictorial version of our vacation.
The morning we departed from the Dells, we went miniature golfing at Pirate's Cove. Mini-golf is a special thing for our family. It was Kathleen and Adam's first date (at Trafalga in Orem, Utah) and has been a favorite family active since then. But this was the first time for Lena and Clare.

Clare with her little club, a ball in one hand and a snack in the other.

Mom showing Lena how it's done.

Because we were there on a an off-week, we basically had the entire course to ourselves, which was awesome. Clare was able to crawl around and do her version of golf: crawl to the hole and stick it in.

This hole was inside a little cave, and here our two little pirate princesses having a great time.

Lena, Clare and Dad with the Pirate's Cove pirate.
We had a blast mini-golfing and followed it up with some ice cream. We made a lot of pirate references, Dad one with the best score (including two holes-in-one) and it was a great way to finish off a fun vacation trip.
