Christmas Part 2

One of the treats Lena received from Santa was a chocolate snowman. She wanted to dive into it from the moment she saw it.

Unfortunately, her hands melted a lot of the chocolate and Lena does not like having yuckies on her hands.

Clare really enjoyed Christmas.
Clare again, reading her Elmo Christmas book.

One of the girls' favorite gifts was a playhouse (complete with a phone, a doorbell, a mailbox, and a sink) that in the summer will be outside, but for the time being is in the basement, gifted by Grammy and Babbo. Lena loves it, but won't go into the basement by herself because of the scary water (the sump pump and other assorted pipes).

A favorite of Adam's is the cordless drill he received from Babbo and Grammy, which enabled putting together the play house. Whoever wrote the instructions calling a drill 'optional' was either on drugs at the time or is a sadist. The drill was a godsend.

We ate an early lunch, complete with turkey and all the delicious trimmings. We then went over to the house of Peter and Andrea Upton-Rowley, some friends of ours. They have four adorable kids (Tyler, Audrey, Nathan and Morgan). The adults played games, while the six kids played. It was a great way to finish off a terrific day.
