As a father, one of the things I most look forward to in the young daughters' lives is the name and blessing we give to young children in the LDS Church. It is wonderful to exercise the Lord's priesthood. It gives me an opportunity to catch an unclear and incomplete glimpse of this young girl's future. Each time reminds me of how unique and special each of our girls are, and that they are loved by their Heavenly Parents even more than they are loved by Kathleen and myself.
Hannah's blessing was one of those precious moments that reminds me of the eternal nature of our lives and the sublime plan God crafted to nurture our eternal development.
We love you Hannah Lee Mangum, and we are so happy to have your special spirit in our family.
