It came just the same!
Christmas is a magical time, especially with three little kids in the house. Lena anticipated Christmas for months. Clare got excited once the decorations went up. And Jane started to figure out what was happening as the day grew closer. It was awesome to see each of the girls discover (or re-discover) Christmas in their own way.
On Christmas Eve we open one Christmas present, new pajamas, a Lee family tradition. Here are the girls in their new jammies.
The stocking were hung by the chimney with care...
There's a tradition in our house, which came from my father, of gathering the girls at the top of the stairs before going down to see Santa's presents. As you can see, two girls were excited. One was still a little tired.
"Really Dad?" Jane says.
The girls playing with Clare's new Batcave.
Lena, Clare and I playing a new game: Monkeys Jumping on the Bed.
Jane happily playing Batman and Robin.
Lena really excited about her iPod alarm clock.
Just to show a little of the excitement, here's a video of the girls getting excited about their presents from Santa.
