Clifford and the girls

On Saturday Daddy took the girls to our local children's museum for 'breakfast with Clifford.' Luckily the Clifford we met was not as big as the 'real' thing.

We started out with breakfast, which included cinnamon french toast sticks, yogurt, pineapple, and donuts. We then moved out into the museum to check everything out.

It didn't take Lena long to find Clifford. She is not a shy girl, and for a while we followed the beloved red dog all over the place. I'm pretty sure Lena is the random kid in a dozen family photos taken with Clifford.

Clare spent most of the time in her stroller, which was fine by her. Because she wouldn't eat most of the provided breakfast, she ended up eating 1 1/2 cranberry-orange muffins (which Mom smartly packed). She got the better end of the deal.

There are lots of cool exhibits in the museum, and Lena loves the water area. Here she is launching a duck down the water slide.

We also created a valentine (which we left at the craft table), learned a lot about frogs, and read some Clifford books to each other. After about 90 minutes, we were all exhausted and left for home. Daddy had forgotten to put any money in the parking meter, but luckily we were not greeted by a ticket. Good day.

We went on Saturday as well. My kids were so excited about the water area that they could care less if Clifford was there. ha ha!
I think this museum just may save my life. Winter is becoming WAY too long.
