Last week we visited the Ice Castles next to the Mall of America. It was a good day to do it -- a little cold and breezy, but sunny and bright. The girls were mesmerized by the massive ice structures and the hidden dragon eggs hidden throughout. We finished the day with dinner in the mall. It was a glorious winter adventure.
The week before that, Kathleen took the girls outside to play in all the snow. We hadn't ventured out much this winter -- it was either too cold, or someone was sick. But they got out on another beautiful day to sled, throw snowballs, and climb throughout the yard.
