Today was Lena's first day out of the nursery class and into the 'big kid' Sunbeam class at church . I'm sure the class with be very talkative; it includes Lena and two of her best friends: Audrey and Lucy.
But as if that wasn't enough for us parents, Lena was also asked to do the scripture and prayer at the end of primary. As usual with Lena, this was an adventure. She's not a shy girl, and she grabbed the microphone with gusto.
She repeated the scripture with a little help from Mom, with Dad and Clare standing in the back offering support. The prayer was a little bit more adventurous. She stopped twice, including to tell Mom (who was still helping), that she couldn't stand where she was, and then once to say, "What?" because she didn't hear what Mom said.
Regardless, it was a incredibly proud moment for us parents. Our little girl is growing up so fast, and we checked off another milestone with so many left to go.

Lena and Audrey made me laugh when I did music. They are so excited to be there with all the big kids.
Just wait till they are in Young Womens.........
